Faribault Window Display Performance information
Every year, the city of Faribault hosts a holiday walk in the downtown area, where local businesses decorate their windows and compete for the grand prize. This year, UPDS is thrilled to announce that we will be participating at our Faribault studio location! Our window theme will be The Nutcracker, a timeless and magical Christmas ballet. Our window display will stand out, because we will have live dancers performing short scenes from the ballet in the window while Ms. Sophia reads the story of The Nutcracker! It will be a fun performance opportunity that is filled with holiday cheer.

Who can participate?
Competition dancers ages 8-18 from the Owatonna and Faribault studios can participate.
Fee to participate: $45
Dancers will need to provide their own holiday dresses, tights, shoes, etc. More details to come.
A few other items to note:
-Parents are responsible for transporting their dancer to rehearsals and the window display performance
-Dancers are required to attend all rehearsals (except in the case of illness or emergency) to participate, as we have limited rehearsal time

Rehearsal Times:
Faribault Studio Rehearsals:
Wednesday from 5:45-6:30 | November 5th, 12th & 19th
Owatonna Studio Rehearsals:
Sunday from 12-1:30 | November 2nd , 8th & 16th

Faribault and Owatonna students will have a dress rehearsal at the Faribault studio on Wednesday December 3 from 5:45-6:30pm

Faribault and Owatonna students will be performing at the Faribault studio on the evenings of Thursday December 4 and Friday December 5 (time frame TBD).
